OHSU Harvest Hustle 5K/1K

Portland, OR

Join us for the 2016 Harvest Hustle 5K/1K on Saturday, October 22! We have a new route this year that is the first of its kind! It will start in front of the Collaborative Life Sciences Building on the west side of the Willamette River and continue to cross the new Tililkum Crossing and Hawthorne Bridge. This is the first time this route will be available in Portland! It is an amazing opportunity for you and your friends and family to run/walk across two of Portland’s most beautiful bridges and enjoy the Willamette River scenery while benefiting people with disabilities and their families.

All proceeds will support the Institute on Development and Disability and Camp Odakoda, a camp for adolescents with autism. Families throughout the region turn to the IDD for care, compassion, and resources for infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities or special health needs. In addition to clinical service, the IDD actively participates in research, public health/community outreach, and education/training to continuously improve knowledge and practice while working with patients and families in the hospital, in outpatient clinics, or in the patient’s home.

We had a great turnout this past October and are hoping for a bigger turnout in 2016! It will be a great time for competitive athletes, families, advocates, and those who wish to participate in a community event that will have a lasting impact on thousands of people with disabilities and their families. We hope you can join us for a memorable event that will have a lasting impact!
